Apart from glass, another alternative to be used in the oven is ceramic. Ceramic is safe in the oven, as long as the oven is within the range of 350 to 400 degrees F. 

Before purchasing a ceramic for oven use, ensure they are without adhesive designs, not glazed and you see the “oven-safe” label on them.
